From 2 to 4 July, the World Para Athletics Grand Prix took place in Olomouc, Czechia.

Kazakhstan was represented by three female para athletes, who won a total of six medals - three gold, one silver and two bronze. One of the team's major achievements was the setting of two world records.

Irina Tyshchenko (F45) became a three-time champion, winning gold medals in the discus throw, javelin throw and shot put. In the discus throw, she set a new world record with a mark of 25.72m. She also established a new world record in the shot put with a throw of 8.83m.



Aisulu Suleimenova (T62) claimed one silver and one bronze medal. She finished second in the 100m with a time of 15.64 seconds, before taking bronze in the 200m with a time of 33.23 seconds.



Asem Zhanadilova (F57) won the bronze medal in the javelin throw. She recorded a distance of 12.48m, earning 48.09 World Para Athletics (WPA) Points.

From 19 to 21 June, the Dutch Tournament 2026 international sitting volleyball tournament took place in Assen, the Netherlands. National teams from Kazakhstan, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Ukraine, Canada, Poland, Estonia and Italy participated in the competition.

In the group stage, Kazakhstan recorded four consecutive victories, defeating Estonia, Poland, Canada and the Netherlands by identical 3-0 scores to advance to the semifinals.

In the semifinal, the Kazakhstan sitting volleyball team defeated Germany 3-1 to secure a place in the final.

In the gold medal match, Kazakhstan was defeated by the United States 1-3, finishing the Dutch Tournament 2026 with the silver medal.

From 10 to 17 July 2026, the World ParaVolley Sitting Volleyball World Championships will take place in Hangzhou, China.

🇹🇳 On 19 June, the Tunis Grand Prix 2026 concluded in Tunisia, bringing together around 500 athletes from 47 countries. The competition is part of the World Para Athletics international calendar and serves as one of the qualifying events for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.



🥇 Yelaman Zholaman claimed the gold medal in the men's F35 shot put event. The Kazakhstan athlete recorded a winning throw of 12.37m. Moldova's Gheorghe Spinu took silver with 9.14m, while Arvind of India secured the bronze medal.

🥈 Mukan Aitmyrzayev won silver in the men's F55 javelin with a throw of 25.03m, earning 777 World Para Athletics ranking points. The event was won by Lithuania's Ramunas Verbavicius, who threw 25.78m.

🥉 Karzhaubay Tineyev claimed the bronze medal in the men's T13 400m, crossing the finish line in 57.04 seconds.

🥉 Kazakhstan's fourth medal came from Gulderai Kaburova, who took bronze in the women's F42 shot put with a throw of 7.12m, earning 512 World Para Athletics ranking points.

🇰🇿 Kazakhstan finished the tournament with a total of four medals - one gold, one silver and two bronze.
